Gardenia School, inaugurated on  June 20, 2015, is a preschool that provides quality English education to 40+ three to five year old students that live in the DJ Halli slum.  Each student is given educational materials and 2 nutritious meals 6 days a week, including periodic medical check ups, all free of charge.  The children are taken on excursions so they can experience restaurants, zoo, shopping centers and parks for the first time.

How is this new school project funded?

The school is owned by  DNF and operated by Building Blocks India and the infrastructure was funded by the AlphaBet Club.  We are happy to be able to fund the Opening of New School. AlphaBet Club is adding additional funds from ABC Events in Amsterdam to cover first 6 months of operating costs (Approximate ABC Project Funding Costs 40,000 Euros). Enjoy the photos from our launch celebration…

“Special Thanks to the staff that supports the Gardenia School at our implementation partner, Building Blocks, to the Infrastructure Funding Partner, AlphaBet Club donors and volunteers, Casa Foundation for construction and fundraising efforts and DNF for providing the building.”

We are looking for funding partners for the school’s monthly operating costs after first 6 months.  If you know any organization or individual interested email us.
