Christmas boxes for low-income households

The AlphaBet Club donated funds to create 50 Christmas boxes filled with food to families in need living in the Amsterdam periphery. A few days before Christmas we handed out 50 gift boxes filled with food to families in Geuzenveld-Slotermeer, an area with a lot of low-income households.

“Thanks to the generosity of the ABC, we were also able to add presents for the children in all of the boxes and clothes to some.  I visited one family that has 6 children and I was able to bring clothes for  the children. They were very excited about getting new clothes! Gifts were  delivered to families of all ethnic and religious backgrounds and there was  excitement in many homes that evening, with very happy children. ABC’s contribution has aided us in solidifying our relationships with families and the community. This makes it easier for us to help them out the rest of the year round.
Thank you.”
